StadiumCross August 29 StadiumCross during the Hopkinton State Fair, August 29th, 2008. Also there will be an organized practice on August 28th (cost only $10). Pro and Amateur, Motorcycle and ATV racing. This will be a Supercross format and we will offer classes to all skill levels. We plan to construct an Amateur friendly, Arenacross style track that will have something for all ages and abilities. On August 29th (Friday) Gates open at 3pm, practice starts at 4pm, and Heats and Mains will begin at 6:30pm. We plan to finish this event by 9pm. Cost to race will be $25 or $20 in advance at www.cyclecitypromotions.com. If you would like to have additional practice, Aug 28th (Thursday) Gates open at 3pm with organized practice at 6pm. Cost is only $10. We are going to guarantee $250 to win the MX Lites and $250 to win the MX Class. Quad Pro will be %100 payback. No AMA membership required. All racers enter the Yellow Gate. Schedule Update Please note that the last race at Thunder Ridge (October 5) will be cancelled, and no race will be rescheduled due to a prior RMR commitment in NY that same weekend. This means the last race for the West series will be September 7 at Twister Valley, NY and the last race for the East series will be September 14 in Monkton, VT. Year End There will be no RMR banquet this year. Instead there will be a pit party the Saturday night of the last race. It will be pot luck style and if families can plan to each bring something, that would be greatly appreciated! Entertainment will provided and people that have locked in their points will receive their awards. The rest will be mailed.
